We found the growing numbers of Nepali people in Australia last three decades particularly in Sydney , Melbourne , Brisbane and Canberra respectively. We all are living in this beautiful country and heading in our own way traffic by doing not as much as we supposed to for the community. Actually, we were feeling isolated, because we left far behind not only our motherland but also our script, languages, arts, culture and literature etc.
For a long time we have realised that the necessity of common form of communication in order to fill up the communication gap between Nepalese residing in Australia . Finally we have come up to the conclusion of publishing “The Nepali Time Australia” as a monthly news magazine. We believe this would be the key to fill and share the feeling of Nepalese. Therefore, the team of four Mr. Mahendra Kumar Lamsal “Publisher”, Dilli Ram Dhakal “Chief Editor”, Sujit Sigdel “Editor” and Nirmal KC “Business Development Manager” have decided to publish a news magazine “The Nepali Times Australia” which is a monthly magazine for Australian – Nepali community. It is currently based in Strathfield, Sydney, NSW; Australia . Our first issue will be published on the occasion of Nepali New Year. Then after, the magazine will be published and available to you every first week of the month. We believe that honesty and integrity are only the keys to success. So, we need your valuable support for achieving our goals.
We strongly believe that this magazine will play a vital role to exchange our views; we can keep alive once again our scripts, language, arts, culture and literature and way of life as a whole in our Nepali community. We believe through this media we also able to identify about people of Nepalese origin in terms of not only progress, achievements but also their problems as well as solutions to overcome such problems.
